I’m Dr. Lee M. Faver, an experienced psychologist, supervisor and trainer. I recently joined family physician, Dr. Elise Leland, and practice psychotherapy and behavioral medicine at Orchards Family Medicine.
More than 20 years of professional experience working with individuals, couples and groups have taught me that most people want to understand what’s happening, develop a plan to improve things and have assistance following through. So, I encourage people to appreciate past experience and work on multiple levels to create real change and more satisfying lives.
I successfully help individuals and couples with relationships, grief, sexuality, trauma, and both health and developmental issues. My experience includes assisting people improve their intimate and sexual relationships, deal with affairs, handle divorce or navigate co-parenting. Others want help with depression, anxiety, compulsive behavior, and domestic or sexual violence. My expertise includes gender and sexual orientation concerns as well as a variety of medical and chronic-health issues. I enjoy helping people navigate life-transitions, improve work effectiveness or change longstanding patterns.
Change can begin in many ways so I work from a collaborative, engaged and integrative perspective. As we understand your situation, we’ll give it new meaning. You’ll develop new ways to think and feel. I’ll offer alternative perspectives and we’ll work together to develop a plan and new ways to approach your situation. We’ll also identify potential obstacles and prepare ways to overcome them, so you get results.
Change is always possible. So let’s create a life you will cherish.
